What is the workshop about?

A Business Plan is exactly what is says it is: a plan of your business! It’s nothing to be scared about, but you will need to put down on paper everything you plan for your business. And it doesn’t matter what stage of your business you are at. It’s a working document and even if you have one, then it’s worth revising it.

Why write a business plan?

Writing a business plan gives you the opportunity to:

• Bring together all your ideas about your new/existing business (including its overall purpose)
• Establish your objectives and targets (not only sales and financial)
• Predict possible pitfalls and consider how you might avoid or deal with them
• Establish future strategy (particularly in marketing)
• Perhaps convince possible investors that they should support your business

It’s much easier following a plan than just acting randomly.

Who is it for?

This workshop is for women living in the Coventry and Warwickshire area. You will need a business idea and require help with the business planning process.
