By the end of this session you will have a better understanding of how to handle both discipline and grievance problems when they arise in your workplace.

Business need

For those who manage staff, resolving problems has become, increasingly, a daily task. A good working knowledge of discipline and grievance procedures is essential if issues are to be resolved in the workplace rather than spilling over in to the employment tribunals. By the end of this session you will have a better understanding of how to handle both discipline and grievance problems when they arise and will appreciate the benefits of good practice as exemplified in the Acas Code of Practice. The session includes practical exercises and case studies to reinforce learning and to encourage delegates to think through the consequences of their actions.
