Contracts of Employment - How to get it right

Training Session

A comprehensive overview of contracts and the written terms which by law must be included.

Business need

Written statements are required by law to be given to all employees who have been employed for at least a month. They help to avoid misunderstandings about employees’ particulars of employment. Many employment tribunals claims arise from inadequately documented terms; the appropriate notice not being given when terms need to be changed or the proper procedures not being followed when contracts come to an end. By the end of this session you will be aware of the main terms and conditions that need to be included in a contract, how to vary the terms, and end a contract.

Training suitable for

Anyone with responsibility for preparing, changing or ending contracts.
